Recipes

One of the joys of joining a CSA is cooking with fresh, organic produce grown by a farmer you can get to know. You also need to be up for the occasional adventure- cooking with an item you may have never used before. We’ve compiled a list of recipe resources to get you started.

​An all vegan blog featuring everything from breakfast to dessert! Check out beet burgers for an interesting way to use your CSA beets!

Great Veggie website where recipes are submitted by users and rated by users so you don’t need to wonder if you need to be a good cook to get these done. And great search feature. For example, put in “lacinato kale” and you can find recipes for both kids and adults! (Sweet garlic kale stir fry. Kids Kale.)

Great recipe site featuring vegetarian and meat dishes, focusing on using farmer’s market and CSA available produce.

An award winning food blog, focusing on recipes with natural ingredients and whole foods. Features all sorts of recipes both locally and internationally inspired.​

Started by a mom to help her kids learn to love veggies, this site features tons of great recipes that are delicious for kids and adults. Think spaghetti squash pad thai!

Gluten-Free Girl
Lots of great recipes, not surprisingly gluten free. There are a lot of baking recipes but a lot of good veggie recipes too. You can search by recipe or by season. Need more ideas for boy choy? Try bok choy with goat cheese and pumpkin seed oil!
